A small beach house or a narrow townhome does not leave you many places to put a TV, so when you hire a handyman in Redondo Beach, the wall in that one spot is what counts.
We work all through South Redondo and around Riviera Village, and each install is priced on the install board by what it is and the wall behind it.
What comes with every install
- One flat price each. The board price is the price for that install.
- Free to quote. Install days are same-week, Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm.
- A text within two hours. We confirm your price and your day by text, between 7am and 7pm.
- Level before we pack up. You see the bubble centered before we leave.
- A one-year workmanship warranty. If it comes loose, we come back at no charge.
First morning in a new place off Prospect Avenue
- All in one trip. The TV, the mirror and the curtain rods can go up together, so the place is finished in one visit.
- Stairs and big screens. If your living room is up a flight of stairs, let us know so we can plan how the screen gets carried up.
- The garage. If yours is narrow or tandem, tell us where we can park.
- Repairs to add. A sliding door that drags, fresh bathroom caulk or a kitchen faucet replacement can go on the same visit, each quoted in writing before we hold the day. Our door repair page explains the doors.
Mirrors, mounts and shelves near The Strand and Torrance Boulevard
- A TV in a small room. A bracket that swings lets the screen turn toward a second seat, but it pulls harder on the wall, so tell us which one you have. Our TV mounting page goes through them.
- A mirror to open up the room. A large mirror weighs more than a nail can hold, so we fix it to the wall properly on our picture and mirror hanging price.
- Shelves in place of a bookcase. Where floor space is short, floating shelves hold what a bookcase would.
- Curtain rods. A wide slider takes a long rod, and we hang it so it stays straight.
- Tall furniture. We put it together on our furniture assembly price and strap it to the wall.
Which wall you probably have, from Esplanade inland
- Plaster. A small older beach house may still have plaster in its original rooms.
- Drywall. Newer townhomes and any remodeled room usually have drywall, whichever floor the room is on.
- Brick or concrete. Some condo and apartment buildings near the water have concrete walls, and an older beach house may have a brick fireplace.
- Metal studs. A few newer townhomes and condos are framed in steel.
The install board gives you the price for each one. Please also mention it if the install is on a balcony or an outside wall. Salt air is hard on exposed metal, and we will want to talk about the bracket first.
