The age of your house matters more than the street to a handyman in Manhattan Beach, because a rebuild and an older ranch home can share a block and have very different walls.

What comes with every install
- One flat price each. The board price is the price for that install.
- Free to quote. Install days are same-week, Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm.
- A text within two hours. We confirm your price and your day by text, between 7am and 7pm.
- Level before we pack up. You see the bubble centered before we leave.
- A one-year workmanship warranty. If it comes loose, we come back at no charge.
Sand Section rebuilds and Tree Section ranch homes
- A tall rebuild in the Sand Section. New construction is usually drywall.
- An older ranch home in the Tree Section. The rooms that were never redone may have a thin coat of plaster.
- A larger rebuild in the Tree Section. This is mostly drywall as well, but if part of the old house was kept, you could have plaster and drywall under one roof, so tell us which room you mean.
- A fireplace. Expect brick or concrete here.
- A condo. Near Aviation Boulevard or Sepulveda Boulevard, a newer building may have metal studs.
Once you know which of these you have, the install board shows you how it is priced. If you cannot tell, ask us, and we check the wall at the door before we drill.
Screens, patches and doors by the beach
Every repair is quoted in writing before we hold the day, and you can add it to an install or book it separately.
- Sliding door screens. We do sliding door screen replacement and put a patio screen door back on its track. Our window screen replacement page has more.
- A drywall patch. We do drywall repair on old mount holes and dents, texturing them to match.
- A door that sticks. We rehang it square in the frame, and our door repair page explains how.
- Caulk around windows. With the salt air and the marine layer here, we can run fresh caulk around a window while we are at the house.
What goes on the wall from The Strand to Sepulveda
- The TV. A large screen over a fireplace and a smaller one in a bedroom are different installs, so tell us about both when you ask about TV mounting.
- Mirrors and art. A big mirror or a row of frames goes on our picture and mirror hanging price.
- Floating shelves. These suit a narrow wall in a tall home.
- Curtain rods. A wide slider gets a third bracket so the rod stays straight.
- Flat-pack and tall furniture. Our furniture assembly price puts it together, and we can strap it to the wall.
