Flat-priced installs and home repairs, Los Angeles County
Handyman installs in West Covina
Family homes, condos and apartments across West Covina get TVs, mirrors, shelves and anchored furniture from us at one flat price per install. Call (310) 857-2520 and we will text back your price and your install day.
Free to quote. Same-week days, Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm.
A TV in the family room and a tall bookcase strapped to a bedroom wall are two good reasons to call a handyman in West Covina, and both are priced the same way, by the install and the wall behind it.
You can see how that works on the install board. We come to all of West Covina on both sides of the 10 Freeway, along Citrus Street and Nogales Street, and to Covina next door.
What comes with every install
- One flat price each. The board price is the price for that install.
- Free to quote. Install days are same-week, Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm.
- A text within two hours. We confirm your price and your day by text, between 7am and 7pm.
- Level before we pack up. You see the bubble centered before we leave.
- A one-year workmanship warranty. If it comes loose, we come back at no charge.

The TV, the bookcase and the rest of what goes up
- TV mounting. We mount the big screen in the family room and the smaller one in a bedroom, and our TV mounting page goes through the brackets.
- Bookcases and dressers. In a home with children, we strap tall pieces to the wall so they cannot tip over.
- Flat-pack furniture. Our furniture assembly price covers putting it together, and the anchoring can go on that visit too.
- Mirrors and frames. A row of school photos down the hall or a heavy mirror over the dresser comes under picture and mirror hanging.
- Floating shelves. We fix the bracket into the wall first, and the level shows you it is straight before the shelf goes on.
- Curtain rods. Blackout curtains on a bedroom window are heavy, so we hang a rod that can carry the weight.
Repairs around a family house, quoted first
Each one is quoted in writing before we hold the day.
- Scuffs and holes. For drywall repair, we patch dents from doorknobs and old anchors.
- Doors that drag. Our door repair takes care of a door that catches on the carpet or will not close.
- Window screens. We replace torn screens and put patio screen doors back on their track, and our window screen replacement page has the details.
- Weather stripping and caulking. We put new weather stripping on an outside door and fresh caulk around a window.

Postwar tract walls on the flats, bigger homes to the south
- Drywall. Most postwar tract homes on the flats have drywall, at least in the rooms that have been redone.
- Plaster. The earliest tract homes may still have a thin coat of plaster in the original rooms.
- Brick or concrete. Look at the fireplace wall and any block wall in the attached garage.
- Metal studs. Some newer condos and apartments have them.
You will find the price for each one on the install board. A larger home in the hills on the south side of town is usually drywall as well, but tell us if the wall is a tall one, so we come ready to reach it.
Call (310) 857-2520 and tell us what is going up and whether it is a tract home, a condo or an apartment, and we will text you your flat price and your install day.
