Free to quote. Same-week days, Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm.
Lakewood's tract homes all started out much alike from about 1950, but many have been added onto since, and that is what a handyman in Lakewood needs to ask about first.
An added room often has a different wall from the original house, so two walls a few steps apart can sit in different columns on the install board.
What comes with every install
- One flat price each. The board price is the price for that install.
- Free to quote. Install days are same-week, Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm.
- A text within two hours. We confirm your price and your day by text, between 7am and 7pm.
- Level before we pack up. You see the bubble centered before we leave.
- A one-year workmanship warranty. If it comes loose, we come back at no charge.
Fixes to book with an install in Lakewood
You will have a written quote for each of these before we hold the day.
- Weather stripping. We can put new stripping on a front or back door while we are at the house.
- Window caulking. We run a clean line of caulk around a window on any side of the house.
- A door that sticks. We do door repair by rehanging it square so the latch catches.
- Torn screens. Our window screen replacement page covers new mesh, and a patio screen door can go back on its track.
- Holes in a wall. We do drywall repair on anchor holes and dents, filling them and texturing them to match.
The original house and the addition
- The original rooms. If they have not been redone, these may have a thin coat of plaster.
- The addition. A room added on later is likely to be drywall.
- The fireplace or the garage. You may have a brick fireplace indoors, or a block wall in the garage out back.
- An apartment. Most are drywall as well.
That can mean three columns under one roof, and the install board shows how each is priced.
Questions from Mayfair to Woodruff Avenue
Will a TV in the addition cost the same as one in the living room?
Not always. The install is the same, but the wall may put it in a different column, so we give you the price for each one before the day.
What do you need from me if I live in an apartment?
Send us the gate code and tell us where visitor parking is when you book. Your landlord should also know about the drilling before we come.
How much fits into one morning?
Five or six installs, and a single-story house makes that easy to plan. Our pages on TV mounting and picture and mirror hanging show what we need to know first.
Call (310) 857-2520 from anywhere off Lakewood Boulevard or Bellflower Boulevard, say which room the install is for, and we will text your flat price and your day.
